Porcelain Veneers
DR. IGOR OCHEV, SAN RAFAEL DENTIST

“Can porcelain veneers make my teeth look better?”

Dental veneers can enhance the appearance of your smile dramatically because they’re designed to conceal your teeth’s imperfections. Here at EvoSmile, we offer porcelain veneers for a look that blends in naturally. If you’re unhappy with the size, shape, or color of your teeth, or the gaps between them, Dr. Igor Ochev can help you smile confidently again.

DID YOU KNOW?
Dr. Ochev has been recognized as Best Esthetic Dentist six times in Pacific Sun’s “Best of Marin” Readers’ Poll.

What are porcelain veneers, exactly?

Cosmetic in nature, porcelain veneers are primarily used to improve a person’s smile. These very thin, translucent shells are custom-made to match your natural enamel. We bond them to the front surfaces of your teeth to camouflage visible flaws. If you care for them properly, they can last 10 to 15 years on average.

6 Reasons for Porcelain Veneers

Create a uniform smile

Fix the size of your teeth

Fix the shape of your teeth

Mask the color or discoloration of your teeth

Restore your worn or chipped teeth

Eliminate unwanted gaps or uneven spaces

GETTING PORCELAIN VENEERS
What to Expect

During your initial visit, Dr. Ochev will inspect the health of your teeth and gums to make sure they’re free of cavities and gum disease. If they’re suitable for veneers, he can get started right away. You’ll come back for a second visit once your custom veneers are back from the dental lab.

Your Visit

Dr. Ochev will lightly buff and shape the enamel of your teeth and take a dental impression. Then, you’ll choose the shade (color) of your new veneers.

Your Second Visit

Dr. Ochev will clean and prepare your teeth with specialized liquids that will ensure a long-lasting bond. He’ll cement the new veneers onto your teeth, and use a special high-intensity light to cure the bond.

Caring for Your New Porcelain Veneers

You’ll receive care instructions at the end of your treatment. Please feel free to call us if you have any questions. Remember that proper brushing, flossing, and regular checkups with us will extend the life of your new veneers.
